Overview

The February 2021 (1.28.2) release introduces Single-Sign-On for Kitewheel Self-Service Analytics, bug fixes and security patches.

Single-Sign-On for Kitewheel Self-Service Analytics

Kitewheel incorporates single-sign-on (SSO) to Kitewheel’s Self-Service Analytics. The Kitewheel Hub is serving as the main authenticator when logging into Self-Service Analytics. There are two ways you can log in - please see below for workflow:

Organizations with Their Own Single-Sign-On Implemented

  • Access Kitewheel Self-Service Analytics >> Kitewheel Hub >> Organization’s Own Single-Sign-On (Okta, ActiveDirectory, etc.) >> Kitewheel Self-Service Analytics

Organizations Without Their Own Single-Sign-On Implemented

  • Access Kitewheel Self-Service Analytics >> Kitewheel Hub >> Kitewheel Self-Service Analytics

Please note, any separate individual passwords set for accessing Self-Service Analytics prior to this release will not work.

Timeout Extensions

Kitewheel has extended the timeout limit on analytics query requests to 7 minutes, now allowing for larger volumes of data to complete the query process and return data to the dashboards.
