Organizations, Projects, Groups and Roles

Xponent supports a flexible role and permission capability for organizations, projects and groups. These roles are managed from the User and Project Administration screens. Organization Roles will trump the Project Roles.

• Organization Roles 
  • Administrative Roles
    • Administrative roles have rights over all projects in that organizations and are the only users allowed to create projects in an organization
  • Types of Administrative Roles
    • Owner
      • All Administrative rights in an organization
    • Operator
      • All Administrative rights in an organization*
    • Configurer
      • Most admin rights but limited operatorional capabilities 
  • Non-Administrative Roles
    • Member
      • No rights by default. Rights are granted through project roles
• Project Roles
  • Admin 
    • Can create connections 
    • Can assign users to project 
    • Can enable journey discovery analytics dashboard
  • Developer
    • Can use the project editor (graphs, adaptors, logic)
    • Can use the journey mapper and metrics 
    • Can see the Performance Dashboard
  • Strategist
    • Can use the journey mapper and metrics 
    • Can see the Performance Dashboard and Journey Discovery Analytics
• Groups
  • Collection of users to make administration easier 

*Currently the only difference between Owner and Operator is that Owners have the ability to create additional owners. Additional differences may be introduced later.

**In order to be able to create a Managed Graph you need to be an Xponent Journey Hub OEM partner. Please contact your Xponent representative if you are interested in using this feature. Anyone can use a Managed Graph that is available to them in the Create New window.
