Kitewheel June 2016 Release Notes

The Kitewheel 2016 June release is now with us and it contains a significant number of new features, improvements and bug fixes. The highlights are:

  • /wiki/spaces/~280179578/pages/517309297 - the Omni-Channel Personalization and the Social Opportunity JumpStart are now available and deliver very rapid project deployment. These JumpStarts include a customer journey, metrics and multiple graphs and have been updated to use the new Web Tracking and API capability
  • Xponent Graph API - adds an external API capability to turn any graph into a web service - no queues to configure - no separate console - you get a unique URL for your graph
  • Web tracking / Web recommendations - building on the Kitewheel Graph API the new web tracking and web recommendation listeners give you the JavaScript you need to add to your web pages to start tracking immediately
  • Custom Templates - save any graph as a template that you can use in any project in your organization
  • Decision Tree Node - one of the most flexible decision nodes allows you to visually layout your segmentation or classification rules
  • Columnar Table Node - a powerful decision node for use when you have many variables but just need to test a small number of cases
  • "IF" (Conditional) Node - a simple but powerful decision node that allows you to construct re-usable conditional statements
  • HTTP Header support for Web Services - expanding the range of callable web services that require specific or custom headers such as API keys or content specific
  • JavaScript Node edits schema values directly through the set of query parameters
  • 10-15x improvements to UI and Engine performance - in particular loading projects on the home screen and execution of link conditions have been dramatically improved
  • The obligatory various bug fixes and usability enhancements
